Somati Systems uses the FireCatcher® Camera from ARAANI. This video camera independently recognizes, through real-time analysis of the camera images, whether a fire is occurring. Because no physical contact with flames or smoke is required, detection happens extremely quickly.
The FireCatcher® Camera can be directly connected to the fire detection panel and sends the necessary alarm signals throughout the building in case of fire.
Additionally, the video images can be transmitted to a camera surveillance system. This allows for the rapid remote verification of fire alarms, detection of the presence of people, determination of the exact location, and monitoring of the fire's evolution. Recordings can be reviewed later for analysis, and appropriate measures can be taken to prevent recurrence.
